Cotswold Loop: The Cotswold Loop covers Cirencester, Charlbury and Broadway, a distance of 78.3 miles. There are many corners on this route. You have to come south from Cheltenham to Chedworth. A little further south, there is a diversion from where the loop begins. It will take you about 3-4 hours to negotiate the loop, if you drive slowly. There are many stops on the way where you can have quick refreshments if you want that.

Burford to Milford Haven– If you looking for a longer trip, try the trip from Burford to Milford Haven in the west. It is a 198 mile trip and can easily take 7-8 hours. The trip is a fairly straightforward trip and there are not many surprises on the road. You will be going through Gloucester, Merthyr Tydfil, via Brecon Beacons National Park, Carmarthen and Haverfordwest on this trip.

The Gardeners Arms- the Gardeners Arms is a country pub with a long history of welcoming bikers. The pub is located in Alderton, 11 miles from Cheltenham. The pub serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The produce is locally sourced and always fresh. There is also a bar and beer garden here which offers a range of ales, ciders and draft beers. The drinks menu keeps changing so there is a lot of variety there. The bar goes through about 300 varieties of ale each year.

Cross Keys Inn- Cross Key Inn is located in Gloucester, which is 9 miles from Cheltenham. Cross Key Inn is a family run place, housed in a historic 18th century building. The pub here is excellent and serves many types of ales, lagers and other spirits. The bar food is also highly recommended. The place is also a live music venue but if you want to catch the music, inquire before you go there, they have a Facebook page.

All the meats and vegetables are locally sourced so they are always fresh. The food is affordable and of a high quality. The Inn contains ten bedrooms and all of them are fully furnished. The rates for the rooms might seem a bit high to some people but it is worth it. The hosts Matthew and Paul welcome bikers.
