On hitting the Belmont junction, you can either choose to go left on the Rivington road or right on the A675, going on a round trip that joins back to the Belmont junction through the other end. During the latter part of the ride, you go through the Forest of Bowland (via the Lythe Fell road), that is simply beautiful. This ride packs a good number of corners, letting you test and improve your riding. The police presence on this route is relatively lower than other places. Bikers who want to leave worries of being pulled over by cops at home when they hit the road will find this route to their liking.
